This site is a simple information hub about dog breeds. Each breed has its own plate — a short encyclopedia-style entry covering where the breed comes from, what it looks like, typical temperament and energy, coat and grooming, well-known health topics, and ordinary care.

Right now you can browse about forty breeds, search by common names and nicknames (Lab, Westie, GSD, Frenchie), and filter by size, energy, trainability, or AKC group. The goal is a place you can actually read: compare breeds, get oriented before you meet a puppy or rescue, or dig into a breed you’re curious about — without sales copy.

It is a reference for curious readers, not a substitute for a veterinarian, a trainer, or a parent-club standard. Individual dogs vary; health notes name conditions that show up often in a breed’s literature, not a diagnosis.
